Moto Z Play 2nd Genration was launched in last week in the US and Motorola India has now announced that the pre-orders for the Moto Z2 Play will open from June 8. Though the Lenovo-owned company has not  revealed the availability date, they have announced some launch offers consisting of the Moto Armour Pack and a  Moto Mods






The Moto Z2 Play was launched last week in the United States display protected by Gorilla Glass featuring a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED . The smartphone is just 5.99 mm thick and is splash-dust resistant.

Under the hood, the Z2 Play is 626 octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU and powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon . The smartphone is available in onboard memory and RAM variants of 32GB/3GB and 64GB/4GB respectively. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat with some Moto-specific features such as Moto Display and Moto Actions.

There’s the USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone port along with Wi-F-, Bluetooth 4.2, NFC, dual-SIM support among others, for connectivity.

There are four new Moto Mods which were launched with the Moto Z2 Play and are expected to make their way to India as well. These include the Moto GamePad, JBL SoundBoost 2 speaker, Moto TurboPower Pack and the Moto Style Shell.

Moto Z2 Play packs in a 3,000 mAh battery which the company says it can last up to 30 hours along with offering support for turbo charge which can provide charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes.
